Best Pore Minimizer Facial Cleansers
Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser
I bought this face cleanser on a whim about three years ago, and it’s been my favorite since then. This charcoal-based face wash absorbs oil and draws impurities out of your skin. As you can tell, this makes it ideal for minimizing pores! It also contains menthol, and I love how that gives my skin that tingly, clean feeling. The whole line of Biore Charcoal products are lifesavers if you have clogged pores!
Neutrogena Pore Refining Daily Cleanser
This is a great pick if you’ve got combination skin – an oily T-zone with dry skin elsewhere. It’s very gentle and designed for daily use. It is designed not to try out your skin. At the same time, it has microbeads that carefully remove dead skin cells, dirt, oil, and more. This helps reduce pore size with daily use, and Neutrogena is a dermatologist recommended brand. If you want an inexpensive, gentle and effective daily face wash, this is an excellent pick.
Olay Pore Minimizing Cleanser + Scrub
There are a couple of things I personally love about this cleanser. First, it combines washing and exfoliating into one product – talk about convenience! Additionally, the exfoliant in this product is pretty gentle. It minimizes pores without causing redness or irritation, and the product is free of harsh chemicals. It’s a bit more pricey than the two product above. However, the effectiveness and outstanding user feedback really have me sold on this blackhead banishing cleanser!
Best Pore Minimizer Toners
Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner
This toner contains a powerful ingredient called glycolic acid; this is used in super expensive facial peels designed to clear pores and more. It’s also got soothing aloe to pamper your skin, and salicylic acid to help diminish blemishes and blackheads. This combination truly packs a bunch and effectively deep cleans your pores. This toner is designed to follow up the Neutrogena Pore Refining Daily Cleanser mentioned above, but you can pair it with any face wash you like.
Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner
Witch hazel is hand down one of my favorite products for gently cleaning my pores. This vegan toner is simply made from completely natural witch hazel – no other ingredients are added. It’s got outstanding ratings across Amazon, beauty forums, and skincare blogs. I’m definitely vouching for this product, but I’ve got a thrifty tip. You can also use a simple bottle of witch hazel as a cheap alternative. I buy mine at for a dollar at the drugstore!
Olay Oil Minimizing Toner
Like the toner listed above, Olay Oil Minimizing toner uses witch hazel to gently but effectively remove dirt, oil, and other pore-clogging materials. If you have oily or combination skin, this is an ideal toner for you. It’s part of Olay’s line of products for oily skin and pore minimization. Many users mention that it’s very gentle on their skin and that it is excellent for removing excess traces of makeup. It leaves your skin feeling and looking fresh, and your pores may look noticeably smaller with daily use.
The Best Pore Minimizer Moisturizers
Olay Total Effects Night Pore Perfector Moisturizer
I admittedly have yet to use this project, but it’s absolutely on my “must buy” list after reading all about it. It’s designed to prevent signs of aging for a youthful glow. Now, I’m in my 20’s so, it may sound a little strange that I’d rave about this moisturizer. But it’s specifically designed to reduce the look of pores by smoothing your skin out and creating an even texture. It also battles wrinkles and keeps skin looking firm – this product is a great fit for pretty much anyone! Just apply it before bed each night to get the best results. I’ll be sure to share my personal feedback on this as soon as a snag a bottle!
Neutrogena Pore Refining Moisturizer
Yes, I’ve included the full spectrum of Neutrogena ‘Pore Refining’ products, and that’s for a good reason. This line of pore minimizer products is tried and true, and this moisturizer is certainly no exception to that. This moisturizer contains retinol, which is well-known for causing smoother, tighter skin. It’s a very popular product in moisturizers, lotions, and other anti-aging products. It’s also ideal for battling large pores, but I do suggest using this product at night. Retinol can cause sun sensitivity, and the last thing you want is a sunburn!
The Best Pore Minimizer Face Masks
Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque
This is my go-to mask that I use at least twice per week. It’s a thick kaolin clay mask that gets deep down into your pores for maximum cleaning. Once I rinse it off, I spend way too much time in front of the mirror in awe of how tiny my pores look. The mint smell is strong, but not overpowering – it’s definitely a signature feature of this product. I leave it on and let it harden for at least 15 minutes, but I’d recommend wearing it for about five to ten minutes if you have sensitive skin. It may be an inexpensive product, but it packs a bunch that cannot be beaten!
Biore Self-Heating One Minute Mask
Once I fell in love with the Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser, I had to try out this mask. It’s super affordable, so I figured giving it a shot was totally worth it. The result? I fell in love! This charcoal-based mask is so warm and soothing as it sits on your skin – I didn’t ever want to wash it off! But when I did, I couldn’t believe how clean my skin looked and felt. I didn’t want to cover up my skin with makeup after using this, and that’s saying a lot! The single packets make this product mess free and super convenient to use, too.
The Best Pore Minimizer Serums
First Botany Cosmeceuticals Acne Blemish Control Serum & Pore Minimizer
I’ll admit that I’ve always been a little wary of skin serums. They just seemed like expensive and unnecessary products, but this particular serum changed my beliefs. The main purpose of this product is to shrink pimples and pores, and it does this using many proven ingredients. Examples include salicylic acid, Manuka Oil, and Lemongrass oil. These oils are excellent for the skin and rich in antioxidants and healing properties. The feedback for this serum is outstanding, and it can produce results after one use. This option is a bit pricey, but it certainly seems to do the trick.
L’Oreal Paris Youth Code Texture Perfector Facial Serum
If you’ve read my other posts here at BaumBeauty.com, you’ve likely noticed I’m a huge fan of L’Oreal products. This facial serum further adds to my love of this brand! It’s another anti-aging product on the list, and it’s got amazing properties for defeating the look of large pores. In addition to tightening your pores, it is designed to make your skin softer. Silky soft skin with barely noticeable pores? Sign me up!
The Best Pore Minimizer Primers
Maybelline New York Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser
I’ve mentioned this product in my Top 20 Best Drugstore Makeup Products post, but I’ve just got to bring it up again! As of right now, I use this primer every single time I wear makeup. It’s my new holy grail product! This gel primer takes seconds to apply, and the results are immediately visible. My pores look tiny, and my skin imperfections are diminished. If you want a super affordable primer to virtually erase your pores, then this is the product you’ve got to use.
Rimmel Stay Matte Primer
I’m a huge fan of Rimmel’s Stay Matte line in general, but the powder, foundation, and primer are true drugstore-priced gems. This primer is super lightweight. Whenever I wear it, it doesn’t have that greasy or heavy feeling that some primers have. It makes my pores look smaller and creates a great base for my foundation. The product description says it lasts for up to eight hours, and it definitely does when used with Rimmel’s Stay Matte Pressed Powder.
NYX Cosmetics Pore Filler
As you’ve likely noticed from my other posts, I am a huge NYX addict. Their line of products never fails to disappoint, and this primer is no exception. It instantly makes pores look smaller upon application. I love that it contains Vitamin E, which is one of my favorite topical ointments for smoothing out skin imperfections. It pairs really well with NYX BB Cream if you want a flawless ‘no makeup’ makeup look.
Minimize Those Pores! Wrapping It Up
If you want the best pore minimizer, your options are far from limited. From the best facial cleansers to the best moisturizers for pores, I’ve covered all the bases. You don’t have to live feeling self-conscious about clogged or large pores. Tons of us have them, but they are totally treatable.
